The Saya Story
SAYA Studio is an award winning interior design firm that was founded in 2020, midst pandemic, by two fearless ladies - Shakti and Yana. They took a leap of faith together, quit their jobs and created this company in pursuit of a more fulfilling life – working for themselves, doing what they love and creating spaces that combine aesthetics with functionality.
With over a decade of experience in the interior design industry in UAE, Shakti & Yana work with their clients to bring their vision to reality, by offering a unique approach to creating inspiring spaces.
Drawing inspiration from a number of elements like travel, nature, poetry and art, their purpose is to give clients a space that uplifts them daily. A space that brings them comfort, peace, harmony and above all else, inspiration!
Meet Saya
Hi! We are SAYA, (SA) Shakti and (YA) Yana, two passionate souls who are eager to give back to the world and create beautiful and functional spaces.
SHAKTI
Shakti is a fun loving, creative Cancerian, with a keen eye for detail. Originally from India, she grew up in several countries such as UAE, Cyprus, and the UK, and draws inspiration from her experience and exposure to diverse cultures. She completed her undergraduate degree in Interior Design in London, and then moved back to Dubai for work. Early on in her career she met Yana, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
YANA
Yana is a high on life Aries with an unstoppable energy who is from a warm Central Asian country called Turkmenistan. She moved to Dubai when she was a little girl and completed her undergraduate degree in Interior Design in Dubai. She has a natural skill for organization and is in charge of the project management, along with designing of course. With fierce personality and passion for design she is the yin to shakti’s yang.
